Buffalo and Maple got after it at Magnificent Marauders Mansion.

Cliff Millar had a big hand in the 9-1 Buffalo triumph over Maple. He rattled off 3 hits in 5 at-bats, scoring 2 times and knocking in 2 runs. Jim Wallace picked up the win, lifting his record to 3-5 on the season. He struck out 2 and walked 4 in 6.2 innings, while yielding 1 run.

Jeff Holmes had a big 2-run double for the Bison in the top of the fifth inning. With Buffalo leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from fan favorite Billy Dionne and swatted a double to left. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bison ahead, 4-0.

Said losing manager Aubert Licci: "Give the Bison credit. They took advantage of our mistakes."

Buffalo, at 27-26, occupies third place in the Thurman Munson League East Division.
