Princes Rebuff Bandits, 4-2
|
Bel Air Princes starter Jose Alvarez led his team to victory over the Brownsville Bandits, 4-2. The right-hander was locked-in. Malcolm Tamburrino notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 1-1. The Bandits, at 17-14, have lost 5 in a row.
Bel Air took a 3-2 lead on Cal Lacenaire's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Lacenaire hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Brownsville pitcher Fernando Valdivia visibly frustrated.
"I just try to be a dog, have good swings, good at-bats," said Lacenaire.
