Nichols took on Ocala in front of a lively crowd.

Nichols center fielder Charles Randell had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Ocala Knights, 9-5. Eric Mason earned the win for Nichols. He lasted 6.2 innings, allowing 5 runs on 10 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 1-2. Junzo Yamabe collected save number 3.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Randell hit a 3-run home run off Malcolm Jones. It propelled the Gnats into the lead, 5-2.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Randell.

The loss has the Knights at 13-4.
