Late Rally Earns Houston 4-1 Win
The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Chet Black into a win. Instead, the Houston Sting prevailed, 4-1. Black threw 5.2 innings of shutout ball. Chris Piotrowski picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Brian Brindisi was tagged with the loss. West Virginia falls to 7-5.

Robert Santiago had a direct impact on the outcome. Santiago contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Houston up, 1-0.

"I thought we played a nice game," Santiago told the Houston Observer. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
