Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws take on the Brisbane Bush Wackers.

Due in large part to center fielder Victor Herbert, the Brisbane Bush Wackers sunk the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws, 5-2. Herbert went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Esteban Castaneda earned save number 1 this season.

Herbert had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 2-1 changeup from Jose Sanabria, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Bush Wackers a 4-1 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Herbert.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Brisbane manager Tan Yue.

Brisbane has a record of 4-5.
