Charleston Panthers starter Garrett Sullens turned in a top-notch performance against the Sonoma Scorpions at Franklin Mountains Field. The result was a win for the Panthers, 5-2. With the loss, Sonoma sinks to 1-7.
Sullens, the Charleston right-hander, went 8 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 2 hits. He collected 6 strikeouts.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Sullens told the Charleston Times.
