Runs were plentiful at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium.

The El Paso Mavericks overcame a pretty good performance by Seattle third baseman Corbin Betts, beating the Sasquatch, 12-9, in 10 innings. Betts was 3-6 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. El Paso sits in second place in the Roberto Clemente League Mike Brouillette Division at 25-18.

El Paso took advantage of an error in the top of the tenth inning. The game was tied, 9-9, when Nate Perlson hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Mavericks in front, 10-9.

"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Mavericks manager Lorenzo Castillo.
