Rockets shortstop Dan Huskey put his stamp on his team's 7-5 win over the Murraysville Peacocks. Huskey was 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 for Kelowna in the contest. Eric Thornton picked up the win, lifting his record to 5-8 on the season. He struck out 6 and walked 2 in 6.1 innings, while yielding 5 runs. Roberto de Alba wrapped it up, recording his 4th save.

The Rockets took advantage of an error in the bottom of the sixth inning. Kelowna was leading 5-4 when Jonathan Reyes hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Rockets in front, 7-4.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Reyes.
