The Buffalo Bison defeated the Seattle Sasquatch, 9-5, at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. Buffalo was led by former first round draft pick Josh Bye, who went 3-3 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Gary Halliwell closed it out for his 4th save. Buffalo is now 24-14, while Seattle is 19-20.

Early in the game, designated hitter Dan Hernandez had a run-scoring double for Buffalo. It was his 9th double of the season and put the Bison on top, 1-0.

"I don't lose sleep over a loss," said Bye. "But I have better dreams after a win."
