Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Seattle Sasquatch got the win.

Seattle got a strong outing from Jason Sanders as the Sasquatch defeated the Milwaukee Millers, 4-2, at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. The save went to Paul Massaro, number 8 for him.

Seattle took a 4-2 lead on Mark Ballard's 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Ballard hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Milwaukee pitcher Paul Bender visibly frustrated.

"Hustle and hard work is a big part of our success," said Ballard. "Those qualities define our team."

The Sasquatch, at 17-25, sit in last place in the Thurman Munson League West Division.
