Behind the bravura of third baseman Peter Johnston, the Silicon Valley Hackers topped the Murraysville Peacocks by the score of 6-3. Johnston went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Hackers. Edgar Arredondo got the win, improving to 6-1. He held the Peacocks to 2 runs on 6 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 1. The RCL AA Lou Piniella League-leading Hackers are 36-16.

Early in the game, Johnston had a 2-run home run for Silicon Valley. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Hackers on top, 3-1.
