Lumberjacks Dump Louisiana, 9-3, to Win 4th in a Row
The Adirondack Lumberjacks picked up a win at Paul Bunyan Field, knocking off the Louisiana Crocodiles, 9-3. Starting pitcher Zach McDermott was a big reason why. McDermott, now 1-3, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs. Adirondack sits at 18-9.

Adirondack third baseman David Gilmore contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a cutter to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 5th hit of the season and put the Lumberjacks ahead, 2-0.
