Starting pitcher B.J. Bichler gave the Cabo San Lucas Toreros a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Hawaii Honu, 3-0, at Field de Los Layendas. The Toreros raised their record to 14-17.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Toreros had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fifth, when first baseman Chance Reber hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Sal Alvarado and made the score 1-0, Toreros. Reber was 1 for 4.

"B.J. was throwing strikes, locating well," said Cabo San Lucas manager Labib Sarahani.
