The Frisco Rams beat the Murraysville Peacocks, 7-3. Frisco pitcher and Middletown, Ohio, native David Doss led the way. Frisco reliever David Doss was credited with the win. His record goes to 2-1. Jared Haney took the loss for Murraysville. The Rams, now 11-4, have hit the ground running this season.

Julio de la Cruz delivered a big hit for Frisco. The third baseman drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Rams ahead, 7-3. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

Doss called the win "just what the doctor ordered."
