Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Windsor Royals and the Murraysville Peacocks. Windsor won it, 3-0. Windsor starter David Trejo was in command. Arturo Villanueva picked up the save for Windsor, his 1st of the year. Windsor is now 6-5.

Mel Brace had a big 2-run double for the Royals in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Windsor leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a changeup from fireballing right-hander Ricardo Diaz and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Royals ahead, 3-0.

Brace said his team "played with focus."
