The Quebec Armada beat the Montreal Jazz, 8-4, at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Quebec shortstop Fernando Puente, who is tied for 7th in the TML in RBI with 23, collected 1 single and 2 doubles with 1 RBI. Victor Favela got the win, improving to 3-1. He held the Jazz to 1 run on 4 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 0. The Armada, now 18-10, have been playing some good baseball.

Regardless of the outcome, those who came to Lucky 7 Ballpark for the Thurman Munson League contest enjoyed being there.
