Alcock Now 4-2 After Subduing Mounties
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Mexico City Luchadores and Montreal Mounties.

Mexico City starter Duane Alcock put a stranglehold on the Montreal offense. The left-hander had complete command of his sinker in leading the Luchadores to a 5-0 win. The Mounties fall to 14-20 and continue their sputtering start to the 2065 season.

The Luchadores liked what they saw from Alcock. The 20-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Mounties to no runs on 5 hits over 8.2 innings, and striking out 9.

"I got in a good groove," said Alcock. "I was getting some swings and misses."
