Freeze Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Death Stars
The Minneapolis Freeze dealt the Detroit Death Stars a 5-4 loss at The Ice Box. Julio Lemus was the star on offense. He was 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The first-place Freeze, at 102-52, now lead their division by 9½ games.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Lemus hit a fastball from Kyle Gamber for a solo home run. The Freeze, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Lemus. "And not try to do too much."
