The Memphis Privateers defeated the Bowling Green Racers, 8-6, at Top of the Hill. Memphis designated hitter Roberto Dolores had a superb performance. He was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. Jason Goodrich went 5.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits. The right-hander struck out 8 and walked 3.
