The Billings Mustangs bested the Indianapolis Ambition, 7-5, at Cobb Field. Dan Walker was one of the standouts. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice. The winning pitcher was Bobby Avila. He tossed 120 pitches over 7.2 innings, allowing 5 runs on 12 hits. The Mustangs improved their record to 43-78 by beating Indianapolis.

Walker had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-2 fastball from Dan Esgro, he banged a grand slam home run to center, giving the Mustangs a 7-3 lead. It was the 21st home run of the year for Walker.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Walker told the Billings News. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
