Reno right fielder Eddo Kemp had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Kemp was 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 3 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2, even as Fairfield beat the Raiders, 9-8. Kemp was named the player of the game despite the loss. Danny Beatty was the walk-off hero for Fairfield. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Flash pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
