The Hendersonville Hens dealt the Minneapolis Freeze a 6-3 loss at The Ice Box. Nate Chambers, who is tied for 10th in the RAAA in triples with 4, was the star on offense. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Brad Helmick went 8 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits. The left-hander struck out 5 and walked 1. With the win, he ups his record to 6-1 this season. Earning his 13th save of the year was Jared Vanderford.

One big at-bat came with a runner on 1st in the top of the sixth inning. Corban Gravari, who is tied for 3rd in the RAAA in triples with 7, hit a double off Minneapolis pitcher Nate Murray. The Hens went on to win the game.

Chambers told the Hendersonville Times: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
