The Bloomington Blazers picked up a win at The Kaleidoscope, topping the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 4-3. On the mound for Bloomington was right-hander John Peters. He played a principal role in the triumph. Peters got the win, improving to 4-1. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Pennsylvania falls to 11-18.

Gil de Aquino came through with a big-time hit for Bloomington. The shortstop smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"John did a really nice job of taking the ball and giving us a chance to win the game," said Bloomington manager Scott Andrews.
