The Minneapolis Freeze knocked off the Tallahassee Captains, 4-2, in TML AAA action at The Ice Box. Minneapolis pitcher and Holden, Massachusetts, native Tommy Cedrone had an outstanding performance. Minneapolis, at 49-51, holds down 4th place in the TML AAA Joe Torre Division.
The Freeze got a big at-bat from first baseman Emmitt Hamm. For the game, Hamm was 1-3 with a triple. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Minneapolis a 3-0 lead.
Hamm called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
