Multi-HR Game for Brisson in 11-5 Win

It was a good time at Edgbaston, where fans came to watch the Fairfield Flash and Thunder Bay Black Bears get after it.
The Thunder Bay Black Bears stopped the Fairfield Flash, 11-5, at Edgbaston. The Black Bears got a big game from Benny Brisson, who hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Brett Johnson got credit for the win, improving to 5-8. He allowed 5 runs on 7 hits in 6 innings. Gabe Inoa closed the game out for Thunder Bay, earning his 1st save.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, first baseman David Callon came through big-time for the Black Bears. With Thunder Bay trailing 2-1, he belted a solo home run.
"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Black Bears manager Norm Cobb. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
The last-place Black Bears lifted their record to 42-70.
