Walnut Creek first baseman Kevin McArdle was instrumental in helping the Warriors triumph, 5-3, over the Seattle Sasquatch. McArdle was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Darren Rogers got the save, the 9th for him this season. Seattle drops to 7-17.

Walnut Creek grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when McArdle hit a 3-run home run off Josh Criss. His 6th home run of the season put the Warriors out in front, 5-2.
