Phelan Hits Two Homers in 6-5 Win for Acadia Park
|
Acadia Park right fielder Keith Phelan picked up 4 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Calgary Hitmen, 6-5. Acadia Park reliever Oscar Ovalle snagged the win, upping his record to 2-0. Mark Collier shouldered the loss. Antonio Bredenberg got the save, the 4th for him this season.
Early in the game, Phelan had a 3-run home run for Acadia Park. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Nationals on top, 5-2.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Phelan said.
Acadia Park, with the win, is 26-53.
