The Waimea Wind stymied the State College Swallowtails, 6-2, at The Wind Tunnel. Jay Nolan had a good day at the plate. He went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Waimea. Justin Sweat picked up the win, improving his season record to 5-6. He struck out 3 in 7 innings. The Wind sit in last place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division with a record of 29-51.

Early in the game, Nolan had a 3-run home run for Waimea. It was his 21st home run of the season and put the Wind on top, 4-1.
