The Fairfield Flash defeated the Thunder Bay Black Bears, 6-3, in RCL AAA action at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Fairfield pitcher Rafael Alfaro had a standout performance. In 6 innings, Alfaro surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. Earning his 1st save for Fairfield was Sam Del Grosso.
