The Calgary Cowboys beat the Cozumel Beaches at Cowboys Field. The final score was 8-4, in favor of Calgary. Bill Thal led the way, going 3-for-4 for the home team. The triumph puts Calgary at 39-21 for the season.

With Calgary leading 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Thal hit a curveball from Vic Rockburn for a 2-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Cowboys ahead, 5-2.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Thal said after the game.
