The Eureka Hornets took on the Havana Stogies at The Nest.

The Eureka Hornets had no problem beating the Havana Stogies, 13-3, at The Nest. Ed Cormack led the way. He was 3 for 5 with 3 doubles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for Eureka. Bobby Loscalzo got credit for the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed 3 runs on 10 hits in 6.2 innings.

Cormack contributed in the bottom of the third. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Eureka get the win.

"You work hard, day in and day out, hoping to give the fans something to cheer about. Today was a good day," Cormack told the Eureka Daily News.

With the win, Eureka climbs to 11-14.
