Victory Pushes Wind Record to 40-24
|
Right-hander Alberto Dimas mesmerized the Baton Rouge Outlaws while leading the Waimea Wind to a 3-0 victory. Mike Cohen earned the save, his 1st, for the Wind. Waimea is now 40-24.
A key at-bat came in the top of the fourth inning. With a runner on 1st, the batter, Andy Robinson, hit a run-scoring triple. It made the score 1-0, Waimea, and helped them go on to win.
Robinson called the win "a collective effort."
