Miguel Negrete, who is tied for 4th in the RAAA in complete games with 1, pitched well, but the Anchorage Moose still fell short, losing, 2-0, to the Baton Rouge Outlaws at Coca Cola Stadium. Baton Rouge reliever Jerry Hartley was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Miguel Negrete took the loss. Jon Spradling collected save number 3.

Baton Rouge took a 2-0 lead on Aaron Jones's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Jones hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Anchorage pitcher Miguel Negrete visibly frustrated.

"Things will change for us," said Anchorage manager . "When things change, we'll get clicking."

The slumping Moose have lost 7 straight.
