Freeze Use Late Rally to Win
The Minneapolis Freeze found a way to sneak past the Calgary Kodiaks, 11-10, in 10 innings. Minneapolis third baseman Rob Heyward, for one, had a standout performance. The winner was Minneapolis reliever Matthew Otto, now 3-1. The loser was Dan Strachan. The win gives Minneapolis a record of 16-11.

The decisive blow was delivered by Tony Jimenez in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Dan Strachan to win the game for Minneapolis. The home crowd went nuts.

"I'm glad I got one I could handle. Glad I got the barrel on it," said Heyward.
