Detroit played host to Candiac at the friendly confines of The Death Star.
The Detroit Death Stars topped the Candiac Redbirds, 9-5, in TMLAAA action at The Death Star. The player of the game was Detroit pitcher Enrique Jiron. The win takes Detroit to 14-16.
Howard Milward was a prime factor in the win for the Death Stars. In the bottom of the sixth with two out, the 25-year old center fielder hit a 2-run single. He was 1-5. He drove in 2 runs.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Milward said after the game.
