The Thunder Bay Black Bears and Indian Wells Aeropostales brought some excitement to Edgbaston.

Indian Wells starter Melvin Magdaleno had a strong outing against the Thunder Bay Black Bears at Edgbaston. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 10-1 win. Magdaleno went the distance for Indian Wells. He gave up 1 earned run on 9 hits.

Indian Wells used the clutch hitting of Chris Ayers to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to give the Aeropostales the lead, 2-0. For the game, Ayers had 1 single and 1 double in 6 at-bats.
