Wind Get 4th Straight Win with Late Rally
The Waimea Wind overcame a pretty good performance by Minneapolis third baseman Rob Heyward, beating the Freeze, 8-4, at The Ice Box. Heyward went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Bob Harrigan, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits in 9 innings. The Wind, now 10-2, have played inspired baseball.

Waimea used a timely hit from Bobby Wilcox to get the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Wind ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"You just play the game as right as you can and see where you end up," said Wind manager Orlando González.
