The Calgary Kodiaks defeated the Astoria Argonauts, 10-3, at Foothills Stadium. Calgary second baseman Travis Stiff had a superb performance. He went 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. With the win, Calgary lifts its record to 7-3.

With Calgary leading 7-3 in the bottom of the eighth, Stiff came up to bat against Astoria pitcher Matt Richards. Stiff hit a fastball to left for a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Kodiaks on top, 10-3.

"It was a good team win. Everybody threw something in," Stiff told the Calgary Daily.
