Argonauts Win with Late Rally
The Astoria Argonauts beat the Indianapolis Ambition, 9-8, in 14 innings at Golden Fleece Park. Astoria left fielder Roberto Gomez had an outstanding performance. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Astoria goes to 3-3.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jay Helmke in the bottom of the 14th when he hit a 2-run double off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Rogelio Reynoso to win the game for Astoria. The home crowd went nuts.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Indianapolis manager Zi-jun Gou.
