The Albuquerque Cacti defeated the Fairfield Flash, 11-6, at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Albuquerque was led by 18-year old first baseman Mark Ballard, who hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The winner in relief was Jeff Andrew.
