Mounties second baseman Cody Jaeger left his imprint on his team's 5-4 win over the Buffalo Bison. Jaeger was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for Montreal in the contest. Montreal reliever Jim LeMay picked up the win, upping his record to 4-3. Bobby Milleville took the loss. The first-place Mounties now sit at 86-45.

The decisive blow was delivered by J.N. Martin in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 34-year old right-handed pitcher Bobby Milleville to win the game for Montreal. The home crowd went nuts.

"This place sure got loud," said Julián Martínez, the Montreal manager.
