The Montreal Mounties put together a convincing win at Mount Royal Grounds, defeating the Buffalo Bison, 16-2. Chris Romanko was one of the hitting stars. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for Montreal. The Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division-leading Mounties are 85-45.

Gene Johnson hit a 2-run double off Mike Olejarz in the bottom of the first, which put the Mounties in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Johnson had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.

Buffalo manager Jon Green called the blowout loss "nothing to write home about."
