Austin Hyde made an impact in the 7-4 Havana win over Eagle Rock. Hyde, who is tied for 6th in the RCL in doubles with 42, was 3-3 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. The 4th-place Stogies improved to 75-76.

The Stogies benefited from a costly error in the top of the second. With Allen Larson at bat and Havana leading 1-0, the Eagle Rock miscue allowed Havana to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.

"It was a solid team effort," said Larson after the game.
