Goodwin Lifts Hornets to 10-4 Win
Behind a fine performance from Ray Goodwin, the Eureka Hornets knocked off the Quebec Armada, 10-4. Goodwin was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Hornets. The Hornets improved their record to 70-55 by beating Quebec.

The Hornets got a big hit from shortstop Wanjala Bagatui. Facing Quebec pitcher Nick Cockrell in the top of the sixth, Bagatui pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 4th home run of the season put the Hornets ahead, 7-0.

"We'll try to build on that win," Bagatui told the Eureka Citizen.
