The Quebec Armada topped the Bloomington Blazers by a score of 6-5. Leading the way was catcher Paul Oulton. Oulton was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Armada. Quebec reliever Yoshikazu Kamiyama picked up the win, raising his record to 5-0. Gil Dial was tagged with the loss. Quebec is now 54-69, while Bloomington is 72-51.

Oulton had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-2 cutter from Gil Dial, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Armada a 6-5 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Oulton.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Oulton told the Quebec Daily.
