Bradford, Hornets Too Much for Stogies
The 6-2 Eureka win over Havana was due largely to Mark Bradford. The Hornets right fielder went 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Eureka reliever Cesar Romo picked up the win to move to 7-0. Sam Del Grosso suffered the loss. The first-place Hornets now sit at 89-54.

The Hornets picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Bradford told the Eureka Daily News.
