Stogies Earn Late Win
Havana left-hander Mike Hutto helped his team edge Dallas by the score of 2-1. Hutto kept the opposing lineup in check. Yale Fischer picked up the win in relief for Havana, while Jim Miller took the loss. Danny Arias closed it out for Havana, earning his 27th save.

Havana used the timely hitting of Thiongo Hali to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Stogies on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I can't say enough about Mike," said Havana manager Taylor Hillary. "He stepped up when we needed him."

With the win over Dallas, the Stogies improved to 75-47.
