Toreros Win with Late Heroics
The Cabo San Lucas Toreros battled the Walnut Creek Warriors into extra innings before the outcome was decided. The Toreros won it, finally, 12-8, in 10 innings. In the game, Cabo San Lucas shortstop Ron Mulhollan hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Cabo San Lucas is now 47-62, Walnut Creek 53-56.

The decisive blow was delivered by Gene Crowell in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a grand slam home run off 30-year old left-handed pitcher Darren Rogers to win the game for Cabo San Lucas. The home crowd went nuts.

"This game had its share of tense moments," Crowell said, postgame.
