Billings designated hitter Jim Gaither was sensational. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Madison beat the Mustangs, 6-5. Paul Bender recorded the save, his 7th. The Mustangs, now 51-106, have lost 4 in a row.

Roberto Rosario had a big run-scoring double for the Muskies in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Madison leading 5-2 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Sean Kingston and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 25th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Muskies ahead, 6-2.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Rosario told the Madison Daily News.
