The Billings Mustangs downed the Pasadena Bumblebees, 7-1, at The Hole. Stellar pitching by Jeremy Hillman had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. Jeremy Balla earned the save, his 5th, for the Mustangs. After today's action, Billings sits at 56-96, while Pasadena falls to 80-72.

Pat May had a big 3-run home run for the Mustangs in the top of the eighth inning. With Billings leading 4-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a slider from 26-year old left-handed pitcher Ben Sylvester and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Mustangs on top, 7-1.

Said losing manager David Williams: "The list goes on and on of things we just flat out didn't do."
