The Nichols Gnats knocked off the St. Paul Saints, 6-3, at The Pond. Rick Dresser was a big reason Nichols won. The first baseman went 1 for 2 with 3 walks. He drove in 2 runs. Nichols reliever Damian Camacho picked up the win to move to 1-0. Rafael Guillen suffered the loss. The Saints, now 47-101, have lost 5 straight.

Dresser had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Gnats went on to win.
