The Ocala Knights beat the Victoria Vikings, 5-1, at The drakkar. Starting pitcher Danny Figueroa was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Figueroa yielded 1 run over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 6, and struck out 9. His record improves to 3-1. Scott Perciavalle nailed down his 15th save.

Jose Solis had a key at-bat with one out in the top of the third for Ocala. With the bases loaded and the Knights leading 1-0, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Figueroa.
