In a tight contest between the Bighorn Bison and the Huntington Station Ramrods, Gordie White was the determining factor. The Bighorn right-hander sparkled in his team's 3-0 win. White got the win, improving to 5-8. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 5 innings. He allowed no runs. At 42-54, the Bison claim last place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.
The Bison got a big at-bat from second baseman Carlos Aguilar. For the game, Aguilar was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Bighorn a 2-0 lead.
"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said White.
